At Lumina Skill, we are committed to your satisfaction with our courses and learning experience. We understand that sometimes a course may not meet your expectations. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for course purchases on our platform.

1. Refund Eligibility

1.1 Individual Course Purchases

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

  • Your refund request is made within 7 days of the purchase date
  • You have completed less than 30% of the course content
  • You have not downloaded any course materials or certificates
  • This is your first refund request for this specific course

1.2 Subscription Plans

For subscription-based plans (Foundation, Professional, Premium Elite, Enterprise):

  • Monthly subscriptions: Full refund within 48 hours of purchase if no courses have been accessed
  • Annual subscriptions: Pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase if less than 10% of content has been accessed
  • No refunds after the initial refund period for ongoing subscription charges

1.3 Bundle Purchases

For course bundles, refund eligibility is determined based on the overall bundle access. If any course in the bundle exceeds 30% completion, the entire bundle becomes ineligible for a refund.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Courses purchased during special promotional sales (flash sales, festive offers)
  • Courses obtained through gift cards or promotional codes
  • Courses where more than 30% of the content has been accessed
  • Requests made after the 7-day refund window
  • Certificate issuance fees (if applicable)
  • Third-party certification exam fees
  • Corporate/enterprise bulk purchases (separate agreements apply)
  • Courses where course materials have been downloaded
  • Second refund requests for the same course

Note: Applicable taxes (GST for Indian users) will be refunded along with the course price. However, payment gateway charges may be deducted in some cases.

4. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Initiate Request

You can request a refund through any of the following methods:

  • Online: Log in to your account, go to "My Purchases" and click "Request Refund"
  • Email: Send a request to refunds@luminaskill.com

Step 2: Provide Required Information

Your refund request must include:

  • Order/Transaction ID
  • Course name
  • Registered email address
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (if applicable)

Step 3: Review and Processing

Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days. You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your refund request.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds will be processed as follows:

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot process refunds to a different payment method or account.

6. Currency and Exchange Rates

  • INR Purchases: Refunded in Indian Rupees
  • USD Purchases: Refunded in US Dollars
  • Exchange rate fluctuations between purchase and refund dates may result in slight differences in refund amounts for international transactions
  • Lumina Skill is not responsible for exchange rate differences

7. Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider refunds outside the standard policy under exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Technical issues preventing course access that cannot be resolved by our support team
  • Course content significantly differs from the advertised description
  • Duplicate purchases made in error
  • Medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances (documentation required)

Such requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

8. Abuse Prevention

Lumina Skill reserves the right to refuse refund requests if we detect patterns of abuse, including but not limited to: repeated refund requests, completing courses and then requesting refunds, or attempting to circumvent our refund policies. Such abuse may result in account suspension or termination.
