This Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for cancelling your subscription plans, course enrollments, and other services at Lumina Skill. We aim to provide flexibility while maintaining fair policies for all users.
Important Notice
Cancellation and refund are different processes. Cancellation stops future charges, while refunds return money for past payments. Please refer to our Refund Policy for refund-related queries.
1. Subscription Cancellation
1.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscription plans (Foundation, Professional, Premium Elite, Enterprise):
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You will retain access to all features until the end of the paid period
- No partial refunds for unused days within the billing cycle
- Auto-renewal will be stopped, and no further charges will be made
1.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription plans:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation within 14 days of purchase may qualify for a pro-rated refund (see Refund Policy)
- Cancellation after 14 days will be effective at the end of your annual billing period
- You will retain full access until the subscription period expires
1.3 Free Trial Cancellation
If you are on a free trial, you may cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial period expires, your payment method will be automatically charged for the subscription plan you selected.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Option 1: Through Your Account
- Log in to your Lumina Skill account
- Navigate to "Account Settings" or "My Subscription"
- Click on "Manage Subscription"
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
- You will receive a confirmation email

3. Individual Course Cancellation
For one-time course purchases (not subscription-based):
- Individual course purchases cannot be "cancelled" in the traditional sense
- Once purchased, you have lifetime access to the course
- If you wish to withdraw from a course, you may request a refund within our refund period (see Refund Policy)
- After the refund period, you retain access but cannot receive a refund
4. Corporate/Enterprise Cancellation
For enterprise and corporate accounts:
- Cancellation terms are governed by your specific enterprise agreement
- Typically requires 30 days written notice before the renewal date
- Contact your dedicated account manager for cancellation requests

5. What Happens After Cancellation
5.1 Subscription Cancellation Effects
- Immediate: Auto-renewal is disabled; no future charges
- Until Period Ends: Full access to all subscription features
- After Period Ends: Access to premium features is revoked
- Data Retention: Your progress and certificates are saved for 12 months
5.2 What You Keep
- Access to any individually purchased courses (lifetime)
- All earned certificates (downloadable within 12 months)
- Course completion records and achievements
- Account profile and basic access to the platform
5.3 What You Lose
- Access to subscription-only courses
- 1-on-1 mentorship sessions (if included)
- Live classes and webinars
- Priority support
- Placement assistance services
6. Reactivation
If you decide to return after cancelling:
- You can resubscribe at any time
- Your previous progress will be restored (if within 12 months)
- You may be subject to current pricing, which may differ from your original rate
- Any promotional or grandfathered pricing will not be reinstated
- Contact support if you cancelled by mistake and wish to reinstate immediately
7. Cancellation by Lumina Skill
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your subscription or access in the following circumstances:
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions
- Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
- Account sharing or unauthorized access
- Intellectual property violations (downloading/distributing content)
- Abusive behavior towards instructors, staff, or other learners
In cases of cancellation for policy violations, refunds will not be provided, and any remaining subscription period will be forfeited.
8. EMI/Installment Cancellation
If you have purchased a course or subscription through EMI (Equated Monthly Installments):
- You cannot cancel the EMI payment plan midway
- All remaining EMI payments must be completed as per your agreement with the financing partner
- Defaulting on EMI payments may result in account suspension and impact your credit score
- Contact your financing partner directly for EMI-related queries
